Sarah graduated from the Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage in 2010 with the ambition to work with athletes and those suffering from complicated and chronic muscular pain.  Over the past 14 years she has worked with chiropractors and physical therapists, partnered with a triathlon team to support their training, and provided on-site massage at numerous marathons and Ironman triathlons.  She has advanced training in massage cupping, myofascial release, prenatal massage, Anatomy Trains and visceral manipulation. A perpetual student, Sarah is constantly studying new techniques to increase her understanding of our very complicated bodies. In 2024 she will be continuing her study of visceral manipulation, the nervous system and strength training. As the saying goes, "the more you know the more you realize you don't know anything" and that is certainly true when it comes to our incredible, complex, and often confusing bodies.

Sarah is also certified in Nutritional Therapy through the NTA. Please visit the Nutrition page for more info on her servies.

In her personal life Sarah is an avid equestrian, runner, and hiker.  She has enjoyed competing in numerous triathlons, including 2 Ironmans in 2014 and 2016.  At the moment Sarah is running the marathon of motherhood with her four year old Norah, who also loves horses and hiking. Sarah also enjoys weight lifting, pottery, and teaching riding lessons.
